Copyright in original works is automatic under UK law (Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988). You do not need to see a registration number for this protection to apply.

What you can do

You are welcome to:

What you cannot do

Without written permission from ADHD Scot, you may not:

• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract provider data or any other data from this site or its API endpoints
• Use the provider directory data to build or populate a competing service
• Reproduce the tools, screeners, or comparison features of this site for commercial or public use without permission
• Remove or obscure any copyright or attribution notices

Database rights

ADHD Scot claims UK Database Right (Copyright and Rights in Databases Regulations 1997) over the following datasets, each of which has required substantial and ongoing investment to obtain, verify, and maintain:

• Provider directory, the selection, arrangement, verification, and presentation of private ADHD and autism assessment providers in Scotland, including costs, waiting times, clinical details, regulatory status, and all associated fields
• NHS waiting times data, the compilation of waiting time figures obtained from NHS Scotland health boards via Freedom of Information requests, including the structure, categorisation, and presentation of responses
• FOI tracker, the compilation of Freedom of Information requests, responses, and derived analysis

UK Database Right applies for 15 years from the date of creation or last substantial update. Substantial extraction or re-utilisation of any of the above datasets, including by automated means, is prohibited without written permission.

Note: the underlying raw data in NHS FOI responses is public information, but the work of obtaining, structuring, verifying, and presenting it is protected.

AI training prohibition

Use of any content, data, or tools on this site to train, fine-tune, or evaluate artificial intelligence or machine learning models is not permitted without written permission. This applies regardless of whether access is via a bot, scraper, API call, or manual means.

This site's robots.txt file sets out which automated agents are permitted to access which parts of the site. Ignoring these directives does not affect the legal protections set out above.
